Introduction to MyNext Profiling

MyNext Profiling is a digital career guidance and student profiling platform developed to support self‑discovery and informed career planning. This sub‑section introduces MyNext as a tool that helps students understand their interests, personality traits, motivation, and skills through structured assessments. By using MyNext, students gain clearer insights into suitable career pathways, while counsellors are able to support students using reliable and data‑driven information rather than assumptions.

This session introduces learners to MyNext Profiling as a key digital tool for career guidance and student self‑discovery. Learners explore how MyNext supports profiling through registration, psychometric assessments, and result interpretation, as well as how counsellors use the MyNext dashboard to provide data‑driven and personalised career guidance. By the end of the session, learners will understand the value of MyNext in supporting informed education and career decision‑making.

🛠️MyNext Talent – Registration Steps

Step 1: Access MyNext Talent

1. Go to https://talent.mynext.my/?lang=en

Step 2: Create New Account

1. Click “Sign Up” on the MyNext Talent login


2. Enter a valid email address.


3. Click “Send Verification Code” and check email.


4. Enter the verification code and click “Verify Code”.


5. Create a password.


6. Click “Register Account” to complete account creation

Step 3: Complete Personal Information

1. Fill in all required personal details.


2. Ensure Display Name is your real name.


3. Click “Continue

Step 4: Select User Status

1. Select “School Student”, as applicable.


2. Click “Continue

Step 5: School Information

1. Fill in required school details.


2. Click “Continue”

Step 6: Upload Profile Picture

1. Upload a professional profile photo.


2. Click “Continue

Step 7: Review and Finish Registration

1. Review all information entered.


2. Click “Edit” if changes are required.


3. Click “Finish” to complete registration

Step 8: Complete Required Assessments

1. Select language and begin assessments.


2. Complete Work Interest (RIASEC) assessment.


3. Complete Personality & Motivation (OCEAN) assessment.


4. Ensure all assessments show 100% completion

Step 9: Download Student Report

1. Go to My CV.


2. Download the assessment report if required.
