Objectives of the Session
At the end of this session, students will be able to:
1. Understand the Purpose of a Resume - Explain the role of a resume in job applications, internships, on-the-job training (OJT), and further studies.
2. Identify Relevant Content for a Resume - Select appropriate personal details, education background, skills, achievements, and co-curricular involvement to include.
3. Apply Proper Resume Structure and Formatting - Organise information clearly using standard resume sections and professional formatting.
4. Write Clear and Impactful Resume Statements - Describe experiences, roles, and achievements using concise and action-oriented language.
5. Align Resume Content with Career Pathways - Tailor resume information according to students’ interests, strengths, and targeted career or study pathways.
6. Produce a Basic, Job-Ready Resume - Complete a draft resume that can be further refined for specific applications.
